I did, however, uninstall and reinstall flash player. Unfortunately, the instructions above are not comprehensive enough for me to clear my flash player storage or turn off my hardware acceleration. I have been using flash player 11 since I upgraded to Lion over the summer with very little drama, but in the past 3 days, it has become unusable.
